I saw in a magazine, that a motif was used to make the top of a hat. Yes, why not? I must try. I did the first one with one with the flowers that I make for the hats. Ah, I know another one that should be just as simple.

Easy to do. Use any round motif and you can do the same. Add a flower to the side and I also use buttons in the center of the flowers.
Have a good one.....Nan..
Welcome to my new site. I have started a new project, making hats, blankets and some clothing for the Preemies in the NICU. They are in need of hats to keep their body heat in, blankets to help the parents feel more comfortable with this tiny person that is here too early, and clothing that is made in their hard to find sizes. All the patterns are designed by me. If you like them and use them frequently, enter a donation. All money will be used on the babies. Thank you for visiting.

No, I am not ignoring my blogs. I have been working on some new hats. I have been using a flower motif and then crocheting around it and making hats with a motif on the top. Patterns to be posted very soon!

My Other Blog
If you need to read about my family and the odd things that happen here in my house, I have my first blog - nan-mynewbook.blogspot.com. I am a self published author. Living in My House Isn't Always Easy is my first book. If I have enough sales from it I will have the second one published. They said in the marketing department to start a blog so I did. Take a few minutes and read it. It may give you a few laughs. In the mean time I am working up a new hat pattern. Should have it ready in the next few days.

Small setback
I have had a small setback with my inventory in the last week. I have been sick and in the hospital so I haven't been working on my wares. I do plan on changing this in the next few days. I should be back into mass production and will make up some new patterns. Please keep returning to my site and pass on my blog to others that want to make tiny garments for the babies. I do have another box ready for delivery and they wanted to know if I could make a certain size fleece blankets for the warming beds. I have 40 to go!
