Varigated Cuddle Sac for Preemies

This yarn really worked up nice.  At first I didn't like how it was going.  As I got further it looked better and better.

Row 1:  Ch 4 and join.  Working over tail, ch 2, do 11 sc in circle.  Join in top of ch 2.  12 sc.

Row 2:  Ch 3, dc in same space, 2 dc in each sc around.  Join.  24 dc.

Row 3:  Ch 3, *fpdc in next dc, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next*, Repeat * to * around. 12 fpdc.

Row 4:  Ch 3, *fpdc in fpdc, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc*. Repeat * to * around. 4 dc between fpdc.

Continue Row 5 for a total of 32 rows.  End off.

Row 1:  Attach white yarn in last ch 3 before fpdc. Ch 3, *do bpdc in fpdc, 4 dc in next 4 st*,  continue around, skipping 2 stitches in front.

Row 2:  Ch 3, do decrease dc in next two stitches, dc in next 3 dc, *fpdc in next st, 4 dc in next 4 dc*, around to last 3 stitches. Decrease dc in next two stitches, dc in last stitch.

Trim:  Ch 2, sc in same space, ch 3, skip 1 st, sc in next st.  Repeat around neckline, work same pattern down collar, front 2 dc, and up collar.  Join in ch 2.  End off.  Hide all ends.  In 5th row from top of variegated pattern weave ribbon evenly around sac.  Fold down white trim rows to form a collar.

Hat

Follow the first 3 rows of sac.  Repeat row 3 until there are 10 rows.

Rows 11 and 12:  Ch 3, *fpdc in next st, 1 dc in next, 1 fpdc in next st, 1 dc in next st* to end.  End off.  Attach white yarn, ch 2, sc in same space, ch 3, skip 1 st, sc in next st around, join to ch 2 end off.  Hide all ends and cut.

Easy enough?  Works up fast and easy.  Have fun with different colors.  If they are for Preemies be sure to use soft yarn, no wool, and pastel colors.

Have a good one.....Nan
