Today's project

I started a cuddle sac yesterday.  It would fit a larger preemie.  I had quite a bit done when I found a mistake and yes, I tore it out.  I have just about reached the same place I was.  I have a little bit to go then I will post a picture.  I like the yarn.  It's Baby Soft in Circus Print.  It works up really neat in colorful stripes.  See you when it's done...

Delivery done!

Today was delivery day.  I took the blankets in a box and the few hats, cuddle sacs and dresses to the NICU this morning.  They couldn't ooo and ahhh enough.  They loved all the little outfits.  Then I opened the box of blankets!  Their eyes lite up like a child getting a Christmas present.  I was so proud of my work.  I left a card inside with all my information, and asked that they call me when they need more.  So now, I will start on the next bunch!  I have two ladies that are helping with the hats, can't wait to see their array of items! Must keep the babies warm......

New pattern posting tomorrow.  Not quite done with it yet.

Cuddle Sac

I made a new cuddle sac.  The pattern can also be used as a hat pattern just by adding or subtracting how many stitches you use, then how many rows you put on it.  If it will be a cuddle sac just add on three rows for a collar.  Works great.  This can be done with most hat patterns!  Try it, it does work.  Have fun with any pattern you want.  I only have a few rows on the latest pattern.  So tune in tomorrow for the pattern.  It is worth the wait.  Have a good one....Nan

Donations have a home!

I contacted the local hospital that has a NICU to see when I could deliver the blankets and things I have ready.  They gave me instructions on where to go in the hospital.  So the first delivery from S & N Crafters for the Preemies will happen in the next few days.  I am so excited.

I was out today and found a real baby sized doll.  Bob had me hysterical when he said," Ask them if you can just buy the head, that is really all you need!"  Some days he just doesn't understand!.....Have a good one....Nan

This is also an easy pattern and works up quickly.  Use any color you want.  To make it larger - use larger hook.   This bodice can be used with different designs also.  Have fun.  Let me know if you want to donate some to the babies.  Have a good one....Nan
