Motif Hat for Preemies

I saw in a magazine, that a motif was used to make the top of a hat.  Yes, why not?  I must try.  I did the first one with one with the flowers that I make for the hats.  Ah, I know another one that should be just as simple.

Row 7:  2 dc in each ch 3 space.  End with 1 dc in ch 2 space.  Ch 3.

Row 8 to 10:  1 dc in each dc around.  Join to top of ch 3.  Ch 3.  End yarn on last row.

Trim:  Attach contrasting color, ch 1, sc in same space and in each dc around.  Join to ch 1 and end off yarn.  Hide all ends and trim.

Easy to do.  Use any round motif and you can do the same.  Add a flower to the side and I also use buttons in the center of the flowers.

Have a good one.....Nan..
